actionable examples of testing content in different social channels
WHY YOU NEED ALWAYS BE TESTING YOUR CONTENT 📲
Testing when creating content is super important because you never know what is going to work.
One of the best things Adam, Thomas, and I do on a weekly, nearly daily basis is test.
Usually on TikTok and Instagram the most since that is where Adam’s audience mostly is.
If you are in content/podcasting game use these examples to help scale your content across multiple platforms.
Today.
Examples of how to always be testing in your content
1. Midform podcast clips
For every podcast that Adam does there are short form and midform (2-10min) clips.
Of course those short form clips go all over social media (7 platforms) almost daily.
But those midform videos they should only go on Youtube and X (twitter) right?
Yes, but they should also go on TikTok.
We did this the first time with Adam’s interview with Dan Lanning.
This midform clip completely changed how we view midform content on TikTok.
We immediately began posting all midform clips (even 10 minute ones) onto TikTok.
It probably gets us an extra 15-50k views per month.
2. Instagram Swipe and Single Images
Instagram was all about producing reels — until single images and graphics started to get better reach in the last two months.
And if you weren’t testing content on the platform you wouldn’t know that.
The results we are getting on some of these are wild.

And when you lean into a trending topic in your niche….. the results get even better.

3. Reworking Content
Adam has interviewed some of the biggest names in college football.
Michael Penix Jr, Kalen DeBoer, Jedd Fisch, James Franklin, Drew Allar and many more.
So how do we make sure those interviews last longer than when we stop making clips for them?
Reworking the videos when a past guest is in the news.
Adam and the Mercury team do an incredible job coming back with ways to keep an interview that was relevant months ago relevant again.
If you made it this far I really appreciate you reading the first email on this journey of building Adam’s brand,
