How We Add An Extra 2-5k Views Minimum To The Same Piece Of Content
Increasing Instagram Views/Engagement With Only 20 More Minutes Of Work
This 5 minute read can 2x your Instagram views and engagements with only 20-30 minutes of extra work per video.
Instagram swipe content has been performing very well for us on the platform.
Especially when a graphic is the first part of the post and the video as the second part.
Here’s how we make a piece of content like this with Adam:
We decide which video we want to turn into a swipe graphic - Ex (link)
Before we make the video I assign the graphic to our designer with a description like this
Image: Cutouts of Adam and BYU head coach, and BYU starting QB
Title - "I Would Not Want My Team To Play BYU At Night"
From there we have the graphic made then the video edited in a 4×5 and 9×16 dimensions.
But here’s what we do different:
Instead of just posting the swipe content, we post both the swipe content AND the reel 24 hours apart.
This strategy allows us to get more views and engagements on 2 different feeds with the same piece of content with only 20-30 minutes of extra work
Example Of This Strategy Working
Graphic to video results:

These numbers are good for this piece of content.
45k views and 2k engagements.
But now lets add in how the posting the video JUST on the reels feed performed.

Another 6k views and 355 interactions.
So, we got a total of 51k views and 2.35k engagements.
The reel
We got a total of 51k views and 2.35k engagements.
Of the 6k views the reel got, 77.2% of them were non-followers, so there is a good chance they saw Adam’s content for the firs time. That never would have happened if we only posted the graphic to video piece.
I hope this strategy helps you add more views and engagements to your Instagram content. if you found this newsletter valuable, share it with another social media marketer!
Appreciate you reading this far, have a great weekend.
