Revealing The Process That Got Us 5M+ Views Using Old Content

The Value Of Repurposing Old Content

Since August 24th, 2024 we’ve added 5M+ views on our content across Instagram, TikTok, and X.

By doing one simple tactic you can do if you have a podcast:

Repurposing content from Adam’s Next Up podcast.

Those extra views/engagements are the value of long form interviews.

They allow you to capitalize off culturally relevant moments in your niche.

This is the process we use to both make this content and decide what content to make:

  1. We watch games on Saturday and keep an eye out for big-time wins or a team that is winning a lot - examples: Curt Cignetti being 10-0 at Indiana, Dan Lanning leading Oregon to a win over Ohio State, Shane Beamer beating Tennessee

  2. We find the best clips from interviews Adam has done with these coaches. Since the interviews are so long, it allows us to make content all week from it.

  3. We remake them and post them Monday-Friday every week to capitalize off the attention that current coach/player/team is having, while having our own unique angle to the content.5 of our best results from the 2024 season:

Reusing content can work for short form content as well.

If you are trying to build your brand and have a piece of content from a few months, even years that would now be relevant in your niche, repost it.

Nobody is thinking about your content more than you are and there is a 99% chance they don’t remember that you posted it before.

Here’s my favorite business and brand building content I watched this week:

Ross Mackay building the Cadence brand during the New York City Marathon

Check these out.

Thank you for reading, have a great weekend.
